Allergies are very common and everyone faces it. Here is everything one needs to know about Allergies.

Allergies are one of the most chronic diseases which everyone faces once in a while. There are many types of allergies and the causal agents of allergies are wide in range. The agents which cause allergies are known as allergens. A chronic disease lasts long and may occur often and repeatedly energy and allergy is one of them. It occurs when our immune system find something that is harmful. The reaction of our immune system to the particular thing is known as allergy. Whenever a person is suffering from allergy his/her body produces an antibody that is known as Immunoglobulin E (IgE). This antibody is supposed to respond to all the allergens which the body detects.

Allergies mainly cause very normal symptoms to the one that are very serious. It is usually very irritating in nature and can make you feel uncomfortable. The symptoms of allergies are having watery noses, trouble in breathing, swelling in the throat or mouth, headache and pain in the body, pimples, rashes, itching, etc. Although there are many other kinds of allergies and their symptoms but the above mentioned are the few very common one.

If you are facing any serious symptoms or the normal symptoms are being repeatedly shown then you should definitely consult the doctor. A doctor will firstly examined and diagnose your symptoms. They also review your personal and medical history. They might do some physical exams and tests to identify your allergens. After your allergens have been identified, they give you medicines to cure your allergy. The treatment of an allergy depends upon the severity of the symptoms. The most common treatment is to avoid the allergens. If your symptoms are severe then doctor may also consult you with some medicines. Also, immunotherapy is used where your immune system is treated so that it does not react to any allergens.

The most common method to treat your allergy by yourself is to prevent the agent from yourself as far as possible. Although it is not as easy as it seems to be because for example if you are allergic to pollution, then it is very tough for you to go outside. This is not possible because in real life as going outdoors is very common and everyone needs to go outside. So you should take precautions if you are allergic to something. Say if you are allergic to pollution you should always use a scarf, etc because precaution is always better than cure.
